We are pleased to announce that we will exhibit at Data Centre World Asia 2026 from September 29 to 30. Visitors can meet our team at Stand S80 and explore our sodium-ion battery solutions for industrial backup applications.

About Data Centre World Asia
Data Centre World Asia brings together data centre operators, infrastructure specialists, technology providers, consultants, and engineering professionals from across the region. The exhibition forms part of Tech Week Singapore, alongside events that cover cloud and AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, big data, and DevOps.
Power reliability, energy efficiency, cooling, fire safety, and infrastructure operations will feature among the event’s core topics. These priorities have become more important as data centre operators add computing capacity and prepare facilities for higher-density workloads.
Aeson Power’s Sodium-ion UPS Battery Solutions
At Data Centre World Asia 2026, we will showcase our comprehensive range of battery solutions for data centres and other critical backup-power applications. Our planned exhibits include high-rate sodium-ion battery systems and our proven AGM lead-acid HR Series, providing operators with flexible solutions for different power, runtime, installation and lifecycle requirements.

Our UPS battery solutions for data centres and other critical backup-power applications use NFPP cathode technology to deliver high-current output during power interruptions. Low internal resistance and high-rate discharge capability ensure a seamless transition from the utility supply to generators or other backup sources.
They also offer strong thermal stability across a wide operating temperature range. The stable polyanionic structure of NFPP cathode material enables reliable cell operation under both high and low temperature conditions, giving operators greater flexibility in site assessment, battery-room design, and cooling requirements.
Safety is another key advantage. Compared with lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries have a lower risk of thermal runaway, while the NFPP cathode material does not readily release oxygen under extreme conditions. This inherent stability helps limit heat escalation and fire propagation within battery installations.
They also deliver long cycle life and high usable capacity, reducing replacement frequency and maintenance requirements while maximising available energy during outages.
In addition, our sodium-ion UPS battery solutions provide environmental benefits through the use of abundant sodium resources and non-toxic materials. Free from lead and acid, these batteries also support more sustainable end-of-life recycling and disposal.
Why Reliable Backup Power Matters for Data Centres
Data centres rely on uninterrupted power availability to maintain the operation of servers, network equipment, storage systems, security systems, and other critical infrastructure. Even a short power disruption can affect service continuity and operational stability. A UPS system bridges the gap between a utility outage and the activation of generators or other backup power sources.
The battery within a UPS system must remain in standby condition for extended periods and respond instantly when a power event occurs. Key factors such as discharge capability, cycle life, temperature resilience, safety performance, footprint, and maintenance requirements directly influence system reliability and total cost of ownership.
These considerations are becoming increasingly critical as data centre capacity expands across Asia. The growth of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, digital services, and enterprise applications is driving demand for larger facilities and higher-density deployments. Meanwhile, operators must balance power reliability with energy efficiency, cooling requirements, and infrastructure safety.
Our sodium-ion UPS battery solutions are designed to meet these challenges with high-rate discharge capability, reliable operation across a wide temperature range, and enhanced safety characteristics enabled by NFPP cathode technology. At Data Centre World Asia 2026, our team will explore how sodium-ion batteries can help data centre operators build more resilient and efficient backup-power systems.
